Friday October 7th

Did I mention it’s rather hot over in NY at present? Something like 10 degrees above average. That’s fine … but it’s also really, really humid … to be honest, a little too humid for my tastes. According to the weathermen, most of it at present seems to be the fault of a tropical depression over Mexico that is sending huge quantities of hot and humid air up the coast. Should break a bit over the w.end … which would be nice.

Anyway, I digress.

Today had many plans but few translated into reality. First off we headed out to purchase said cute sexy camera and deed done, she then wanted to go to a photo finishers that could support her work if she does a stint in NY and then on to buy some clothes at the Diesel mega-store.

The plans however were sent awry somewhat by Jo developing a full on migraine while we were sampling a small Guinness prior to visiting the processors. I had to get her home fairly fast and just about made it without her throwing up in the Taxi – Phew!!

Jo was really quite ill by the time we got back and retired to bed. I was forced to play with her camera instead and of course make regular trips to the Deli to provide sustenance for Jo in the shape of Carrot Juice (beginning to wonder if all this carrot juice is such a good idea) and herbal tea etc.
