Today I thought it was time for a fragrance upgrade! Sadly my Jasper Conran "Homme" which I like so much has finally gone ... well ... off! I guess the fact that the bottle is clear doesn't help, but something in the scent has degraded into a nasty niff after the 7 or so years I've had it and given that I seem to be living in the centre of the perfume district, I thought a NY whiff was in order. Trotted off to Sephora near Madison Square Park and sampled a range of 4 or 5 that I had looked up on the web. Now girls, what is it with patchouli??? I ruled 4 of them out straight away due to the undertones of this horrid herb - do you lot find it sexy or something 'cos I certainly don't!! Bleuch!!!!

I settled for "Be Delicious" which seems to hit the right notes ... well I like it.

Aparently it's "masculine to the core and melds the raw lushness of nature with the powerful sophistication of the big city with crisp wet greens and intoxicating coffee." Who writes this??? Come on, own up!!

On the way back, I found a skechers shop and was forced to buy a pair of shoes ... not actually the trainers I need, but a nice pair of leather casuals that look better than my cruddy photo of them!
