Enough rain already!!

We've now had 3 months of rain in the past 72hrs and the whole coast is on flood alert ... well those parts that aren't already under water. We're being advised to be prepared to move to high ground ... so here's hoping that 30 floors up counts!! Maybe I'll stock up on cornflakes just in case - that is if the rain ever eases off enough to make it viable to go outside - I made the mistake of opening the apartment balcony door earlier and was nearly thrown over the side by the gust of wind that wrenched the door open with me clutching on for dear life. Remind me not to make that mistake again.
